New Feature Added

If you look on the left-hand side of the page just above the Blog Archive you will find the heading Intentions ~ Thanksgivings ~ Comments in the form of a guestbook. This space is for you to leave your prayer requests and intentions, and your thanksgivings to Our Mother of Perpetual Help. You may also leave a general comment. This is not a place for discussion or posting opinions, but rather Our Lady's Mailbox. I ask that everyone who joins in our prayers to remember these intentions. You may do so in a general way, for example: For the intentions of the online novena. In this way we will have many people praying for one another and our needs.

Dear Fr. Scott -

Thank you for your work in building this webpage devoted to Our Mother of Perpetual Help. May the Mother of Perpetual Help continue to watch over you as you continue your ministry in service of Her Son.

FR--

Being what I am, I can't help but wonder if perhaps, you could put up an english version? I'm a little bit too old and stupid to learn another language at this stage.

Dear Ignorant Redneck -

If you look to the left hand side of the page, Father was gracious enough to place the prayers in several languages so that others may benefit from the prayers to our Mother of Perpetual Help.
The first link is in English.

Ignorant Redneck,

You can access the English prayers via the side bar or by simply scrolling to the bottom of the page (for now). In future the only way to access the prayers will be via the sidebar or the archives.

Thanks for asking.

You're welcome. And thank you for the prayers.

Father -

You mentioned in a previous post that you would be posting weekly sermons - have I missed them?

Perhaps one that speaks of the background of Our Mother of Perpetual Help for those who are not familiar with the Remptorists order and who may not have the same devotion as your congregation does.

Anonymous,

No, you haven't missed them. Hopefully they will be forthcoming.

Thank you, Father. I'll check back and look forward to the read sometime in the future.

May Our Mother of Perpetual Help continue to watch over you and all of your good work here on earth.

Dear Fr. Scott -

Your newest blog for Evening Devotions during Lent is very spiritual and inspiring. While I am not able to go to church daily because of my work schedule, I have been reading the gospels and reflecting on the meditations and prayers prior to bed. This is a perfect way to not only end the day but become more prayerful during the season of Lent. I did have one question, where is the Altar of the Mother of Perpetual Help on the site? Is it in your parish in Massachusetts?

I wish you success with this blog and hope that many others find it on the web. I will be sure to pass the website around to those I think would be intersted (and who have a computer).

Dear Father -

It was well worth the wait. I found your homily for the First Sunday of Lent to be very thought provoking and spiritual. I look forward to more of the same over the next five weeks of Lent.

Thank you to all who have left comments and kind words. I'm glad to see that we have some readers.

Someone asked, "Where is the Altar of the Mother of Perpetual Help on the site?"

This is the altar of Our Lady of Perpetual Help at the Oratory of Saint Fraincis de Sales in Saint Louis, MO. It is a beautiful church staffed by the Institute of Christ the King and Sovereign Priest. Their website is found here:

Be sure to check it out.
